The industry term, "Day-Of" Wedding Coordination, does not somehow seem to really fit the true level of service we provide at Lisa Zimbler Events. We will meet you where you are in the event planning process, so our service is unique and customized to your needs. Our interests are not in designing or giving you our vision for your event, but rather in giving you the personal assistance and guidance you will need along the way as you make pertinent decisions that will ensure a grand and beautiful affair!
Lisa Zimbler Events believes that securing the right team of vendors is pivotal in making certain your event is a success. We begin by working with you to secure all vendors for your wedding or special event. If you have not already selected all of your suppliers, we are able to refer you to the most talented professionals in the Chicago area that match your style and budget. We work with only the most highly qualified and reliable event vendors. No further due diligence is required on your part for vendor selection. Additionally, we can assist you in contract negotiations to ensure a fair and agreeable price if needed.
Once all of your vendors have been selected, we will take over the job of supervising them. Our job is to be sure they do theirs. We will require copies of all finalized contracts and proposals for your event so that we may contact each of them in advance to go over details and confirm delivery dates and times. During your special occasion, we will serve as the liaison between you and your wedding suppliers so that you can focus on enjoying your day!
Itinerary and Planning Schedule
Lisa Zimbler Events will provide recommendations as to when certain decisions need to be made, such as selecting invitations and purchasing wedding attire. Several weeks prior to your event, we will have a meeting to finalize the ceremony (if it is a wedding) and all other aspects of your special day. As the date draws near, we will create a timed itinerary or "script" for the weekend that will allow your event to flow smoothly and seamlessly much like a well-choreographed performance. This document will be given to each of your event vendors in advance and will include all vital details related to the day.
Rehearsal and Ceremony
We will assist you in creating a proper processional and recessional order that reflects your traditions as well as your personal taste for the ceremony. Whether you choose a house of worship or the reception site for the ceremony, we will be present at the rehearsal to instruct your bridal party in practicing this order. We will be present on the wedding day to coordinate transportation, musicians, ushers and any needs of your guests.
We will arrive well in advance of your event to handle the following tasks: ~Place escort cards per your direction. ~Arrange table candy or party favors you are providing to for your guests. ~Assist Bride and Groom with their wedding attire. ~Oversee transportation arrangements for the Bridal Party and/or guests. ~Confirm ceremony set up and reception tables are arranged as planned and that each table is set for the appropriate number of guests per the floor plan. ~Double check that all vendors have arrived, that their information is correct on their contracts and that they have provided what you are contracted to receive. ~Work directly with Banquet Captain and/or Caterer throughout reception to ensure the event runs smoothly.
The Last Dance
~At the end of the evening, we will see to it that you receive any items from the wedding that have been in our possession and will turn over any boxed gifts that have been received on your behalf. ~Before we depart, we will ensure that the bridal suite is ready for your arrival.
